This one-day festival is packed with an array of hands-on activities, demonstrations, re-enactments and performances showcasing everything that makes Cornwall special. Location: Enys Gardens, St Gluvius, Penryn, TR10 9LB – What3Words: ///diplomat.ooze.quite See Bronze Age axe-making in action, explore an Early Medieval encampment, try your hand at Cornish wrestling or sit back and enjoy traditional sea shanties that have been sung across the centuries. You can even let ‘The Cornish Caretakers‘ take you on a fun-filled adventure through Cornwall’s history or cheer on our warriors in an exciting battle at the end of the day! The festival is organised by Cornwall Heritage Trust, a small independent charity which protects Cornwall’s landscapes, traditions and stories and shares them with everyone. Morvleydh, The Cornish Early Medieval Warband, will be taking their corner of the festival back to the 9th century with a living history encampment, crafts and combat displays throughout the day.
