132nd Dean and Shelton Country Show Date: Saturday 5th September 2026, 12.00 to 5pm Venue: Dalton Community Hall Field High Street Upper Dean Huntingdon PE28 0LT Event Details: The show, now in its 132nd year, The Dean and Shelton Country Show hosts the now famous tea tent, visit the historic produce show displaying bread, jams, vegetables, flowers, photographs and crafts from local villages, which includes a winner's cup presentation. Visit various exhibitors including the Army Cadets and craft stalls, bar, raffle, food including pies, Ice cream, and a hog roast. Marvel at a spectacular array of classic cars, tractors, vintage machinery and steam engines. Entertainment includes a juggler, Punch and Judy, Childrens Sweetie Scramble , the Corby Silver Band, a Gun Dog Display and even a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and much, much more. See Wryngwyrm of the Viking Society bring a Viking Warband to life and do battle against the Saxons in the Battle of Dean, visit the Viking camp meet the blacksmith, strike a coin and ask the Vikings questions about everyday life over a thousand years ago. There will be 2 fierce battles, including a crowd charge and a chance for children to fight the Viking warriors. A short acting piece by Wryngwyrm will also be performed. Visitor Parking is either on adjacent field overflow parking is on rear of main field. Exhibitors and stall holders set up from 9.30am. Gates open from 12.00pm.
