The 2023 Kirkstall Festival will take place on Saturday 13th July from 11am in the picturesque grounds of the 12th Century Kirkstall Abbey. This annual festival is free to enter. The Festival is probably the largest community festival in Leeds run entirely by volunteers. It attracts around 25,000 people. Throughout the day The Vikings will be showing you how to live, eat, craft and fight like our Viking ancestors! There will be plenty of opportunity to get up close and personal with the warriors and people from all walks of life; with exciting demonstrations of crafts, court, weapons of war and a battle between two mighty armies.
