Ydalir have been invited to the Lionesses Roar rally for a second year. It's to raise money for Hope Sensory Farm (the site where it's held) and other charities. It's at Marsland Green, near Astley, next to the A580 East Lancs Road. The event starts on Friday evening with various bands on, but we are only doing things on the Saturday. You can bring authentic tents, caravans and plastic tents, no need to book in as there's plenty of room. You can arrive Friday evening and stay until Sunday morning. Note that the bands are on in the enclosed area, it's pretty loud but if you camp with us (about 400 metres away) it's OK. The theme of the rally is Mad Max. There was a burger bar on site last year and there are various take-aways within walking distance. The event is listed as "public" but it's restricted to people who have bought tickets. Last year it was restricted to 500. I'll be posting an information pack nearer the time.
