Saxon and Vikings will be visiting Oxford Castle to show the life and craft during this period in our history. In Oxford the St Brice’s Day massacre and aftermath lead to the construction of the western defences of Oxford which resulted in St George’s Tower.

Founded in 1971, The Vikings are the oldest and largest Dark Age re-enactment society in the UK.
