Morvleydh are attending a Renaissance Faire hosted at the Royal Cornwall Showground, near Wadebridge, Cornwall. For those who are unfamiliar with the concept a RenFair is basically a fantasy type event where members of the public are encouraged to dress up in costumes from any part of the medieval and renaissance period and enjoy an atmosphere which we might call 'medieval adjacent'. Due to the fantasy nature of the event we will be allowing any permitted kit, even if not normally appropriate for the British Isles. This means that Eastern Viking kit is welcome alongside normal Viking/Saxon/Brittonic kit. We are still aiming for an authentic encampment however so no fantasy costumes - gear must be appropriate to the period between 700 and 1066 just not geographically limited to Britain. We will run a full arena display on both days and be camping on site. Morvleydh will aim to provide firewood, there are toilets and water points on site.
