We are able to access the site from Thursday 25th June to set up. The festival is off Sir William Hill Road, Grindleford, S32 2HP. If you're approaching from Grindleford the gate to the field will be on your right - but there will be plenty of signs. Plastic camping is available, but we will be among festival campers. There were no problems last year, but I would advise taking a sensible approach and not leaving any valuables, including weapons, unattended in tents. IBCs will be dotted around the site to supply drinking water & there will also be several fire extinguisher points for any emergencies. Normal restrictions regarding fires - raised boxes and plenty of water on hand to contain any stray embers. There are two food vans on site, one will be providing vegan & vegetarian options and the other more varied, but the site is not far from Grindleford & Eyam. While the festival is a 3-day event, no one is expected to be in kit/camp all the time (unless you wish to be). We are free to de kit after the combat displays and enjoy the live bands.
