Kirkby Stephen - Loki Stone Commemoration

Commemorating a new display for the Loki Stone - a carved depiction possibly the base of a stone cross that is dated to 900 - 1000AD the Kirkby Stephen parish council want to have a village town event to celebrate the rich history of Cumbria. Set up will be open on Friday evening with good access to unload on the vicarage lane just to the side of the grounds and weekend parking in the public car park ~5 minute walk away. Water point, a kitchen area and toilets will be available in the form of 'Church House' which is approximately 10 steps away from the event area. Plastic camping is unconfirmed. Show hours are (currently) Saturday: 10:00 - 17:00 Sunday: 12:30 - 17:00 Dogs are welcome, just clean up after them. Firewood will be provided by the client.
