Amlwch Viking Festival - after a 13 year absence, this much loved event Is back.

The field is opposite the old garage LL68 9NU or ///donor.streaking.gratitude
Toilets are arriving Wednesday to Wednesday so camping allowed Thurs to Tues/Weds. Steve Lines will be on site Friday morning to arrange the Living History layout so if you intending camping in LH Thursday night there is a risk of tents having to be moved.
Standard 2 day Major event. Skirmish and battle. Full LH. Acting scenes.
Date line 908 Battle of Ros Meilon, Viking exiles of Dublin (so Norse Irish) versus Cymru (Welsh)
No eastern kit.
For timeline restricted items under our current information:
Hangerocs are ok
Spectacle helmets are ok
Dane axes are Viking only
Vikings are Christian by this point also so crosses
Authenticity checks 9.00 Sunday
Combat, LH and Acting tests available, contact various training heads for details.
Space for LH, plastic, campervans and caravans.
Please make sure you bring your membership cards, or a photo of your membership card on your phone, with you to ensure you get smooth access to the event field.

We need this to support with fine tuning of the logistics.
WATER IMPORTANT
Further to previous information, there will be only limited bottled water available at Amlwch Viking Festival this is to avoid leftovers and plastic waste. Please bring what you think you will require – remember it might be hot. There will be some available if people need it.
Warriors, please ensure you are hydrated before you arrive at the field and carry water on with you if you can. There will be water available at the battlefield for any who need it.
There is hose tap by the site owner’s wall for boiling, cooking, dish/self-cleaning water only. It's just a hose with a tap on. It comes from a normal domestic supply. Members must be aware that water from this tap is not certified as drinking water.
In order to compensate for any inconvenience for those who have brought water, we will be adding £2 to expenses claims.
There will be a skip on the main field and bin in plastic camp
Dogs are allowed but must be on leads AT ALL times as there are Sheep in next fields. NOTE Fireworks at harbour Saturday night.

Open mic event on in the town on the Friday night for budding bards and musicians!
Flame lit procession, boat burning and fireworks at the harbour on Saturday night.
